How big is the widget? Will it slow down my site?
The widget script is under 15KB gzipped and loads asynchronously, so it won't block your page. The widget itself only renders when opened, keeping your initial page load fast.
Is Upvox GDPR compliant?
Yes. We only collect the data users explicitly submit (feedback, optional email). We don't use cookies for tracking, and all data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure. You can request data deletion at any time.
Can I customize the widget's appearance?
Yes! You can customize the position (corners or edge), theme (light, dark, or auto), and trigger type (floating button, edge pill, or custom trigger). Pro plans will include full color customization and branding removal.
What frameworks does it work with?
Upvox works with any website - it's just a script tag. React, Vue, Svelte, Next.js, Astro, plain HTML, WordPress, Webflow, you name it. If it runs in a browser, it works.
How do you prevent spam?
We use Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible CAPTCHA) to verify submissions, plus rate limiting and domain restrictions. You can limit which domains are allowed to submit feedback to your project.
When will the beta end?
We're aiming to launch publicly in early 2026. Beta users will be grandfathered into special pricing and get early access to new features. Join the waitlist to be first in line!
